About the game

Save or sacrifice souls to shape your run.

Soul Savior is an action roguelite tower defense. Monsters are drawn to gold and attack your kingdom's strategic points. If they reach your treasure, they plunder it, and once it's gone, you become their target.

Along the way you meet villagers whose souls you can save or sacrifice. Saved souls return as helpers from the afterlife. Sacrificed souls give you immediate power, at the cost of your humanity, and your spells become strong enough to hit your allies too.

Between waves, a wandering merchant sells spells, upgrades, artifacts and traps. Worlds, merchants, upgrades and enemies are procedurally generated, and the souls you collect unlock permanent upgrades between runs.

Key features

  • Save villagers' souls for allies, or sacrifice them for raw power
  • Mix destructive spells and traps to build your own mage
  • Procedurally generated worlds, merchants, upgrades and enemies
  • Permanent upgrades unlocked with the souls you collect
  • Shareable world seeds to challenge your friends
  • Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud
