By playing Farmer Toon you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't play.
Age
If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or legal guardian to agree to these terms for you, especially before making any purchase.
Your account
Farmer Toon is played through Steam. Your game profile is linked to your Steam account, and Valve's Steam Subscriber Agreement also applies.
You're responsible for what happens on your account. Don't share or sell it, and keep your Steam account secure.
Your licence
Techinox gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play Farmer Toon for your own entertainment. Making videos and streams of the game is allowed under the creator policy.
Playing fair and being respectful
Farmer Toon only works if everyone plays fair. You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, insult or discriminate against other players;
- use offensive, hateful or sexual names for your farm, your animals or anything else other players can see;
- use cheats, bots, macros, modified clients or any tool that gives you an unfair advantage;
- exploit bugs instead of reporting them;
- use several accounts to manipulate the market, battles, rankings or events;
- buy, sell or trade accounts, items or Stars for real money or anything outside the game;
- attack or overload the game servers, or try to access data that isn't yours;
- pretend to be Techinox or a moderator.
Found a bug? Report it on Discord or by email. Players who report serious bugs in good faith are never punished for finding them.
Content you submit
Some things you create are visible to other players, such as names and, where the game allows it, custom skins or images you submit.
- You keep the rights you have on your content, but you give Techinox a free, worldwide licence to store, display and adapt it inside Farmer Toon and its promotion for as long as it's in the game.
- You must own what you submit or have permission to use it. Don't submit content that copies someone else's work or breaks the rules above.
- Submitted content may be reviewed before it appears in the game. Techinox may refuse or remove any content, without having to give a reason.
Stars and virtual items
Farmer Toon has a premium currency called Stars, plus in-game coins, items, animals and other virtual goods.
- They give you a licence to use them inside the game. You don't own them, and they have no value outside Farmer Toon.
- They can't be exchanged for real money, refunded in cash or transferred outside the game, except where the law requires it.
- Techinox may adjust the game's economy, prices, drop rates or items to keep the game balanced.
- Stars and items obtained through a bug, an exploit or a payment that was later reversed may be removed.
Purchases
Farmer Toon is free to play. You can choose to buy Stars with real money. Payment is handled by a secure third-party payment provider: Techinox never sees your card details.
- The price, including VAT where applicable, is shown before you confirm.
- Stars are added to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed.
- If your Stars don't arrive, email thetechinox@gmail.com with your Steam name and the time of purchase. Techinox will add them or refund you.
Right of withdrawal. EU consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, such as Stars, this right ends once delivery starts, provided you gave your express consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). This consent is requested before you pay. Techinox still looks at every refund request in good faith, for example after an accidental purchase of unused Stars.
If you reverse a payment with your bank without contacting Techinox first, the Stars from that payment may be removed and the account suspended while the issue is resolved.
Events, rankings and seasons
Farmer Toon runs competitions, seasonal events, rankings and a season mode that resets regularly. Rewards are in-game items or currency with no monetary value. Techinox may change or cancel an event, adjust rewards, and disqualify players who cheat or break these terms.
Availability and changes to the game
Farmer Toon relies on online servers. Techinox works to keep them running but can't promise they'll never be down, for example during maintenance or after a technical incident.
The game will keep evolving: features, balance and content may change. If Techinox ever decides to shut down Farmer Toon's servers, it will announce it at least 30 days in advance on the Steam page and on Discord, and stop selling Stars as soon as the decision is announced.
Warnings, suspensions and bans
If you break these terms, Techinox may, depending on how serious it is: warn you, rename or remove your content, remove items or Stars obtained unfairly, suspend your account temporarily, or ban it permanently. Measures are proportionate, and a permanent ban is reserved for serious or repeated breaches.

Intellectual property
Farmer Toon, its name, logo, characters, art, music, code and all related content belong to Techinox and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these terms transfers any of these rights to you.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services under French and EU law, or Techinox's liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct. Outside those cases, Techinox isn't liable for indirect damage, such as loss of in-game progress caused by events outside its control.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version is published here with a new date, and important changes are announced in game or on Discord. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. If you're a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country. In case of a dispute, please contact Techinox first to find an amicable solution. If that fails, the competent French courts have jurisdiction, and as a consumer you can also go to the courts where you live.
